Pistol premiered in a one man show with a series of digital paintings in 1997, which were amongst the earliest painted on the computer and output on canvas. Two selected paintings below are from that show and are available for purchase. The top two are the first ever 3-D sprayed on the NYC IRT number 5 train from 1973 and my first painting called REAR WINDOW painted in watercolor
from the apartment I grew up in 1972.

In early 1973, Pistol made a journey from Brooklyn to the Bronx at 11AM to spray paint what would be the first ever 3-D lettering done on the subway. It would go on to be a revolution in style and propelled the way graffiti lettering was done since. Pistol did this piece solo (without other writers) and was his last piece created on the NYC subway system.
Painted in 1972 in pistol's sophomore year at the High School Of Art & Design in Manhattan, NYC. This watercolor painting is the view from Pistol's rear window of the Brooklyn apartment he grew up in.
A classic Pistol tag from the first digital computer opening at the Martinez Gallery in 1997. iIt features shades of grey over a very multi colored and textured background. The original has been sold and is shown from the opening night (pic top of page above).
A trio of Yellow, Purple and Red Pistol tags over psychedelic melted subway trains. The original is available and is the last painting shown from the opening night (pic top of page).
