MONEY

Acrylic, Spray Paint, Ink, Marker, Resin on Water Color Paper. 18”’ X 25”.  2017

If only our man Vincent was able to enjoy the amount of money he’s made when he was alive. It is our single most

conundrum in our daily lives. The persuit of money.  Most go in debt to spend it. For some, it comes too easy while others inherit it, steal it, lie, cheat, kill and spend their whole lives trying to obtain it.

“You need money. I need money. We all need money.

Than we spend it. Than we need more money. We do this till we die”

ALCOHOL

Acrylic, Spray Paint, Ink, Marker, Resin on Water Color Paper. 25”’ X 18”.  2017

We struggle to find meaning in our lives and navigating our existence in a tectologically unforgiving era. We’ll always have music and the vision of writers to offer insights. Sometimes we have the comfort of alcohol.

“Sarcastic fits, Invisible expectations. Tunes tell the time. Answers have been given.

The vision is clear.

Another libation is near”

SLEEP

Acrylic, Spray Paint, Ink, Marker, Resin on Water Color Paper. 25”’ X 18”.  2017

Sleep can be an elusive time in our cycle. Sometimes we ask for help from an imagined person in our dreams to show the possibilities. Sometimes we have an anomaly that prevents us from sleeping and missing sleep can be a disguise for staying up past our bedtime.

“Can I take you in my world or can you take me from mine?

Awake for three days but sleep is a disguise!”

RELIGION

Acrylic, Spray Paint, Ink, Marker, Resin on Water Color Paper. 25”’ X 18”.  2017

The image can suggest our fear of needing a God to babysit our emotions when it is convenient. Since most wars have a strong connection to religious differences, the graffiti AK47 with a rose looks more appropriate than actually shooting it!

“Religion has too many calories. We only pray to God

when we do something wrong, are sick or afraid.

No wonder he can give a fuck about us!”

7 OF 9

My all time favorite character on TV. Seven of Nine was the human child who was captured and assimilated by the Borg, turned into a drone with no individuality and given cybernetic implants that made her a super intelligent, technological being. She was rescued by the Captain of the star ship Voyager and literaily became the

female Mr. Spock. This was one of my many favorite lines she used in various episodes.

“This conversation is in violation of all established protocols!”

MUSIC

Acrylic, Spray Paint, Ink, Marker, Resin on Water Color Paper. 25”’ X 18”.  2017

This painting was inspired from a performance of Beethoven that I saw at Carnegie Hall. My mind wondered and these thoughts entered throughout the performance. It’s amazing that composers never were able to listen to their own work in the form of playback through speakers. Technology hasn’t  made better composers but I’m sure him and Mozart would have loved to kick back and blast a symphony or two.

“Put your best soul forward cause your words trip over your feet.

Turn yourself upside down and put your soul in the ground cause the music

is somewhere in between!

Just repeat.”

ROMANCE

Acrylic, Spray Paint, Ink, Marker, Resin on Water Color Paper. 18”’ X 25”.  2017

Beauty is skin deep and in the eye of the beholder. After that, we hope we find

trust and loyalty. But, we almost always get caught in some betrayal and it comes down to those frisky skeletins.

 “If you beleive in anything,

don’t get on your knees for anyone.

Don’t scruff your pants.

Don’t confuse a stain

with romance!”

POLITIX

Acrylic, Spray Paint, Ink, Marker, Resin on Water Color Paper. 25”’ X 18”.  2017

Yeah, it’s always that time to vote for some over rated humanoid to hopefully not abuse the power of a political agenda. But. their is always someone like my man and name sake ‘Pistol’ Pete Maravich who comes along and dazzles us with creativity, originality and inspiration. If only a politician could do the same.

“Elect no soul to put into effect, put food on that family’s plate.

Steal, imitate, originate still gonna sleep.

Wake up done centuries ago to repeat in the future. Stay up late.

You’re right all wrong, listen to fate!”

WAR AND DOUBT

Acrylic, Spray Paint, Ink, Marker, Resin on Water Color Paper. 25”’ X 18”.  2017

Sooner or later, the world gets bored when we no longer care about pop stars, fashionistas, celebes, trend of the

moment, tech creations we’ve no need for, etc. and than we start a war. How cool it would be if there were no longer any weapons to use.

“Style chasers, waste spacers. Takes anyone to make it legit this month.

Your deadline is approaching!

If you hesitate, who dominates? This months flavor is gonna wage war!

Lost if it could be fought without weapons.”
